About Us
We are the oldest gold prospecting club in the US., established in 1947.
We have 150+ members who enjoy getting outdoors to prospect for gold, rocks and minerals at our 10+ mining claims.
We also hold 4-5 outings each year where we enjoy mining, games, bingo, and drawings for gold.
We publish our newsletter 4-5 times per year, letting you know what events are coming up and a recap of past events.
We also have a yearly grand outing every October, which includes a metal detecting hunt, large potluck dinner, and a large drawing for mining equipment and gold.
